Dear Lorenzo,
Please follow these steps:
1. Ensure the service "SharePoint 2010 User Code Host" is running.
2. Within SharePoint Central Administration, choose "System Settings" and ensure "Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Sandboxed Code".
The Activate button should no longer be greyed out.
